Sheborg Massacre (2016) Plot & Synopsis

Starring Nathan Hill, Joshua Black, Mark Entwistle, Nathalie Gellé, Sean McIntyre

Directed by Daniel Armstrong

Sheborg Massacre (2016) is directed by Daniel Armstrong and starring Kirsten Betts, Joshua Black, and Maggie Chretien. Not my typical film to watch but Monster Pictures did a fantastic job winning me over with their movie trailer. In my opinion, based on the trailer, this could be a good movie to sit back in the late night and enjoy for what it is, a film to be lost in and not taken seriously.

From the Press Release:

Melbourne, Australia. Strongman Pictures Entertainment have announced a release date of April 19 across Australia for their latest film, the sci-fi, splatstchtick, rock-‘n-rollin’-action-rampage SHEBORG MASSACRE on DVD & Bluray through Monster Pictures Australia.

About Sheborg Massacre

When an alien fugitive crash lands into a local puppy farm and begins turning people into mutated robot killing machines with a taste for puppy flesh, Dylan (Whitney Duff), and Eddie (Daisy Masterman), two self-proclaimed political activists, are all that stand between the Earth and total domination. Forced into a ‘dare to be great’ situation that neither are prepared for, the two BFFL’s must fight their way past cops, city officials and cybernetic dog butchers in order to destroy the evil Sheborg and save the planet!

SHEBORG MASSACRE is Strongman Pictures third DIY feature, written and Directed by Daniel Armstrong (MURDERDROME - 2013, FROM PARTS UNKNOWN: FIGHT LIKE A GIRL - 2015). It premiered at Melbourne’s Lido Cinema in mid 2016 to a sold out crowd, and won Best Actress Awards for both of the stars, Whitney Duff and Daisy Masterman, as well as the Special Jury Award, from the Melbourne Underground Film Festival (2016).

According to the film’s writer and director, Daniel Armstrong, SHEBORG MASSCARE was inspired by his boyhood infatuation with B grade science fiction and horror movies on VHS.

“I’m stuck in the 80s, in particular I’m stuck in the ‘10 movies for 10 dollars’ aisle of the video library. I used to hear about a lot of movies by reading magazines like Starlog, or Fangoria, but they never came to Australia. Until video libraries became a thing. I used to live in the video library, and have a real love for the schlock sci-fi and horror flicks of the 80s that’s stayed with me to this day”.

Synopsis: An alien fugitive crash lands on earth and begins turning people into cyborgs that feed on animal flesh. Dylan and her best friend Eddie have to team up to stop the Sheborg before the whole town is assimilated into monstrous machines of destruction.

Storyline: When an alien fugitive crash lands into a local puppy farm and begins turning people into machines that feed on puppy flesh, Dylan and her BFF Eddie have to decide whether or not to take on the SheBorg menace, and save the world.
